About Principal

Dr. Y. Padmanabha Reddy, Principal of Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (RIPER), is a postgraduate in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Analysis (University 1^st rank) from Andhra University in 1987. Then he received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same institution in 2005 and was honoured with the prestigious Best Thesis Award.

Dr. Y. Padmanabha Reddy started his professional career in February 1998 as the Principal of PRRM College of Pharmacy in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. He later served as Principal of Nirmala College of Pharmacy in Kadapa from November 2001 to September 2002. Driven by his management and leadership skills, he founded Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (RIPER) in the rural area near Krishnam Reddy Palli in October 2002, with the support of fellow pharmacy professionals. Since then, he has served as the Professor and Principal at RIPER.

Under his visionary leadership, RIPER has grown into a premier autonomous institution, consistently recognized for its excellence in pharmaceutical education and research.
