Steps to Apply for an Indian Student e-Visa

1. Confirm Eligibility: Students should check if they are eligible for the Indian e-Visa on the official Government of India e-Visa website.
2. Gather Required Documents: Prepare necessary documents for both the student and any accompanying family members.
3. Fill Out the Online Application: The student must complete the application form on the e-Visa portal, pay the fee, and submit the required documents online.
4. Receive and Print the e-Visa: After approval, the e-Visa will be sent electronically. Print a copy to present at the immigration checkpoint upon arrival.
5. Arrive in India: Students should bring their passport, printed e-Visa, and supporting documents when arriving in India.

• Conversion Restrictions: A student visa cannot be converted to other visa types (e.g., tourist or work visa).
