The entire faculty of each specialization.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Two subject experts from outside the Parent University to be\u00a0 nominated by the Academic Council.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> One expert to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from a\u00a0 panel of six recommended by the college principal. 5. One representative from industry\/corporate sector\/allied\u00a0 area relating to placement.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> One postgraduate meritorious alumnus to be nominated by\u00a0 the principal. The Chairman, Board of Studies, may with\u00a0 the approval of the principal of the college, co-opt:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(a) Experts from outside the college whenever special courses of\u00a0 studies are to be formulated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(b) Other members of staff of the same faculty.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Term : The term of the nominated members shall be three years. Meetings : The Board of Studies shall meet at least twice a year. <\/span><b>Functions:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Board of Studies of a Department in the college shall:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> prepare syllabi for various courses keeping in view the\u00a0 objectives of the college, interest of the stakeholders and\u00a0 national requirements for consideration and approval of the\u00a0 Academic Council;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> suggest methodologies for innovative teaching and\u00a0 evaluation techniques;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> suggest a panel of names to the Academic Council for\u00a0 appointment of examiners; and\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> coordinate research, teaching, extension and other\u00a0 academic activities in the department\/college.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>RIPER-Autonomous, Ananthapuramu<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>ACADEMIC COUNCIL COMPOSITION\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Principal (Chairman)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> All the Heads of Departments in the college\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Four teachers of the college representing different categories of\u00a0 teaching staff by rotation on the basis of seniority of service in the\u00a0 college.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Not less than four experts\/academicians from outside the college\u00a0 representing such areas as Industry, Commerce, Law, Education,\u00a0 Medicine, Engineering, Sciences, etc., to be nominated by the\u00a0 Governing Body.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Three nominees of the university not less than Professors. 6. A faculty member nominated by the Principal (Member Secretary).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Term : The term of the nominated members shall be three years. Meetings : Academic Council shall meet at least twice a year. <\/span><b>Functions of the Academic Council:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Academic Council shall have powers to:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Scrutinize and approve the proposals with or without modification of\u00a0 the Boards of Studies with regard to courses of study, academic\u00a0 regulations, curricula, syllabi and modifications thereof, instructional\u00a0 and evaluation arrangements, methods, procedures relevant thereto\u00a0 etc., provided that where the Academic Council differs on any\u00a0 proposal, it shall have the right to return the matter for\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reconsideration to the Board of Studies concerned or reject it, after\u00a0 giving reasons to do so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Make regulations regarding the admission of students to different\u00a0 programmes of study in the college keeping in view the policy of the\u00a0 Government.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Make regulations for sports, extra-curricular activities, and proper\u00a0 maintenance and functioning of the playgrounds and hostels. D. Recommend to the Governing Body proposals for institution of new\u00a0 programmes of study.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Recommend to the Governing Body institution of scholarships,\u00a0 studentships, fellowships, prizes and medals, and to frame regulations\u00a0 for the award of the same.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Advise the Governing Body on suggestions(s) pertaining to academic\u00a0 affairs made by it.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Perform such other functions as may be assigned by the Governing\u00a0 Body.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>RIPER-Autonomous, Ananthapuramu<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>GOVERNING BODY:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Conposition\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Constitution of Governing Body of Private \/Self Financing\u00a0 College\/Constituent College run by Trust\/Society\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Functions of the Governing Body:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subject to the existing provision in the bye-laws of the respective college and\u00a0 rules laid down by the state government\/parent university, the Governing\u00a0 Body shall:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guide the college while fulfilling the objectives for which the college\u00a0 has been granted autonomous status.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Institute scholarships, fellowships, studentships, medals, prizes, and\u00a0 certificates on the recommendations of the Academic Council <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approve new programmes of study leading to degrees and\/or\u00a0 diplomas.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All recruitments of Teaching Faculty\/Principal shall be made by the\u00a0 Governing Body\/state government as applicable in accordance with\u00a0 the policies laid down by the UGC and State Government from time to\u00a0 time.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To approve the annual budget of the college before submitting the\u00a0 same at the UGC.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perform such other functions and institute committees, as may be\u00a0 necessary and deemed fit for the proper development of the college<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>RIPER-Autonomous, Ananthapuramu<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>FINANCE COMMITTEE:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Composition of Finance Committee:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Principal (Chairman).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> One person to be nominated by the Governing Body of the college for a\u00a0 period of two years.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Finance Officer of the affiliating University\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> One senior-most teacher of the college to be nominated in rotation by\u00a0 the principal for two years.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Term : Term of the Finance Committee shall be three years. For the approval of experimentation on large animals, the\u00a0 case is required to be forwarded to CPCSEA in a prescribed\u00a0 manner with the recommendation of IAEC.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> IAEC is required to monitor the research throughout the study and\u00a0 after completion of the study, IAEC shall obtain periodic reports on\u00a0 research development and shall ensure a visit to the animal house\u00a0 facility and laboratory where the experiments are conducted. The\u00a0 committee has to ensure compliance with all regulatory\u00a0 requirements, applicable rules, guidelines and laws.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>RIPER-Autonomous, Ananthapuramu<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>ALUMNI<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>FUNCTIONS <\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> President: The principal of RIPER will be ex officio President of RIPER\u00a0 Alumni Association. He shall preside over all the meetings of the\u00a0 Association. He is the sole in charge of the association and he shall\u00a0 advise\/guide on all matters pertaining to the administration of the\u00a0 association.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Vice-President: The Vice Principal of RIPER will be ex officio Vice President of the Association. He has to act as a President in the absence\u00a0 of the President. He coordinates with the President and Secretary in all\u00a0 aspects of the association.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Secretary: He has to be elected by the general body of the association and\u00a0 shall be responsible for the functioning and execution of the\u00a0 administration of the association. He is responsible to run all the business\u00a0 of the association. He has to maintain the records and documents of the\u00a0 association.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Treasurer: He has to be elected by the members of the general body of the\u00a0 association. It is the responsibility of the treasurer to maintain the\u00a0 finances of the association under the supervision and guidance of the\u00a0 executive committee.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Joint Secretary: He has to be elected by the members of the general body\u00a0 of the association. He has to help the Secretary in all matters of the\u00a0 association. He has to maintain the register of members of the\u00a0 Association.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Executive Members: They shall assist the treasurer in collecting funds\u00a0 from members of the association in the form of fees, donations and gifts.\u00a0 They can suggest the President and Secretary in all other matters of the\u00a0 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To perform collaborative and translational research and development for\u00a0 delivering new pharmaceuticals\/products as preventive\/curative ailments against\u00a0 life-threatening diseases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To undertake collaborative research projects with the goal of a seamless\u00a0 transition of therapeutic molecules to clinical stages and beyond. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To conduct program\/training relevant to societal needs, and style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To prepare a sports calendar and an action plan to implement the same. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To suggest the methods which encourage students and faculty to utilize\u00a0 sports and games facilities available in the college\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To take up the responsibility of preparing the budget estimate, requirement of\u00a0 infrastructure equipment, and maintaining the equipment and playing fields. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selection of teams to represent the college in inter-collegiate tournaments and\u00a0 also intramural tournaments.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To prepare the details of attendance exemption to be given to the students\u00a0 representing the college in various sports and games\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span
