Definition of Ragging<\/p>\n

Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, or handling with rudeness any other student, in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student or asking the students to do any act or perform something which such student will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student.<\/p>\n

Grievance and Redressed cell<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Grievance & Redressal Cell has been constituted in Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, RIPER is in accordance with the regulations of University Grants Commission. Principal, was nominate as chairman of the Grievance Redressal Cell, he will be assisted by Vice-Chairman and two members. The Grievance Redressal Cell has been formed solely to provide solutions for the grievances of the students which arise then and there. The students are fully free to submit their grievances regarding academic or personal matters in the meeting held on first week of every month, by dropping in the suggestions boxes provided in our campus. On receipt of the grievances the Grievance Redressal Cell scrutinizes, analyzes carefully and discusses with the concerned person to find out on amicable solution without affecting the interests of both the parties. If the grievances are found to be not genuine, the students are explained about the reasons for not implementing them. In all cases maintaining strict confidentiality is ensured by the Grievance Redressal Cell.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students\u2019 Welfare and foreign affairs committee looks after the protection of rights and supervises the welfare activities of the students of Constituent Units of Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (RIPER). Placement and Industry \u2013 Institution Interaction Cell<\/strong><\/p>\n

An active Placement and Industry \u2013 Institution Interaction Cell (PII Cell) has been functioning in the College. The function of the Cell is to promote closer interaction between the academic field and the professional field. Industry Institute Interaction Cell is established to provide closer links with industries. The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institute. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute. Industrial exposure of Faculty is very much helpful to guide students about latest industrial practices. Industries are able to know recent developments and inventions in their fields and implement projects for technologically driven economy.<\/p>\n

    Admissions Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Admissions Committee is responsible for the graduate student admissions in the program. This committee will also develop contacts with other relevant graduate admissions committees with the goal of identifying potential candidates who would be more appropriate for the program. The admissions committee endeavours to identify applicants with the greatest likelihood of success in attaining their degrees. Applicants to be interviewed or recruited are identified by the committee and, when possible, invited to visit for an interview. In addition, the admissions committee tracks the success of the admissions process each year by maintaining a database of pertinent information on the applicants. This committee reviews admission requirements for the program annually. Recommendations for change in the standards for admission are made to the steering committee.<\/p>\n

    Alumni Association for Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research is framed to facilitate communication between the present students and our Alumni.
