It\nencompasses all the disciplines from preformulation studies, pilot scale-up\nstudies, manufacture, evaluation or quality control study, labelling and\npackaging etc., until a new drug molecule reaches the market.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;line-height:150%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;color:black;mso-themecolor:text1\">The\nDepartment\u2019s research activities centre on formulation science and drug\ndelivery, with strengths in pharmaceuticals, processing, drug delivery and\npharmaceutical microbiology. Research in various drug delivery systems,\ncharacterization of fundamental properties of drug and excipients and their\nadaptation to optimize formulation and processing.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;line-height:150%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;color:black;mso-themecolor:text1\">Department\nof Pharmaceutics provides insights in areas of physical pharmacy,\npharmaceutical engineering, pharmaceutical formulation, compounding and\ndispensing, novel drug delivery, packaging, biopharmaceutics &amp;\nPharmacokinetics to students of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) and Doctor\nof Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree programs.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p
